How Our Consent Order Service Works
Getting your financial agreement made legally binding doesn't need to be complicated. Our experienced SRA-regulated solicitor prepares your Consent Order and supporting court documents, with an optional Fully Managed service if you'd prefer us to handle the court process too.
Order Your Consent Order — £279Six steps to a legally binding agreement
Step 1: Place your order
Order online for £279. An optional £129 Fully Managed service is available.
Step 2: Tell us about your agreement
Provide details of your finances and the arrangements you have both agreed, including assets, property and pensions.
Step 3: We draft your documents
An experienced SRA-regulated solicitor prepares your bespoke Consent Order, fully completed D81, Form A and Pension Sharing Annex where required. Clean break provisions are included as standard. Our standard drafting time is six weeks.
Step 4: Review and sign
Both parties review and sign the completed documents. Fully Managed customers receive electronic signatures.
Step 5: Submit your application
Fully Managed includes pre-submission checks, court submission on your behalf, routine correspondence and straightforward amendments. Without it, you submit your own documents. The HMCTS court fee of £62 is payable separately.
Step 6: Court approval
A judge reviews the application and may request information or amendments. Once approved and sealed, the order makes the agreement legally binding, subject to the relevant provisions taking effect. Approval is at the judge’s discretion.
